Planetary Problems
A downloadable game for Windows
THE PROBLEM:
Your boss makes literally all the money in the world. Yet he wants to find ways to make even more money...
THE SOLUTION:
YOU!
Using our new patented technology we call, "walking," you'll be able to speed up and slow down the spin of our wonderful home planet. Of course, the boss isn't paying you to slow anything down, he wants the days to speed up! After all, more days, more profit!
How to play:
Simple! Using your A and D keys, you can walk in either the left or right directions. Due to the laws of physics, which we WHOLLY respect, the planet will spin in the opposite direction to which you're walking, so don't mix up your left and rights!.. or would it be right and lefts?
On the left side of the screen, you'll have your trusty company-issued Catsio watch to track the date and speed of the planet. Weird that a watch can't tell time, but even broken ones are right twice a day!
On the right, you have different "upgrades" you can buy!
- Our "Protein ++" substance is sure to give you that planet-pushing boost you'll need to help us make more money!
- Ratchet straps, to really tie everything down and make sure it nothing flies away. Can't ever have too many ratchet straps.
- Rockets

Real talk, thank you for checking out Planetary Problems! This is mine and Veo's first games we've ever made, alone or in a team, so we're really proud of what we were able to accomplish! There was a lot we had to cut, as is true with any game jam, but we still really had a lot of fun and might come back to clean stuff up later and add in a lot of (if not all) the story elements we couldn't add in time.
If you're a fellow jam member, hope you enjoyed it as well!
And if you're juniper, thanks for hosting this! It was a lot of fun to be a part of!!
